VTB-66

This is a very accurate clone of a 1966 Vox Tone Bender - my personal favourite Germanium fuzz.

It's made using components from a large cache of quality NOS parts - all a very close, if not exact, approximation of what they would have actually been built with in 1966. Erie and Sprague capacitors, Mullard Germanium transistors and carbon comp resistors.

It comes with modern enhancements such as a true bypass switch and LED indicator, as well as a custom printed PCB for durability and tidiness inside the enclosure.

As this is a classic Germanium PNP transistor circuit, it's designed to only take an Alkaline 9V battery, as it is integral to the sound. However, the option to run this on a 9v daisy chain is also available. I would recommend the battery option for the best fuzz sound.

Standard fit-out is red knobs and a tiny 3mm LED, but subject to availability. Let me know if you're fussy, I can probably accommodate you!
